There is a lot of excitement going on today with the Apple event, They shared with the public all the new products coming out.  There is the iPad Pro and the cool accessories that you can use with it, the new Apple TV that has been revamped with new features, the anticipated iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, and more.  Apple is always one to bring forward exciting new products and we can’t wait to see how they all come out to be once released. 

iPad Pro

The iPad is a widely loved gadget and now it has been super sized and packed with some impressive features.  The iPad Pro offers a 12.9 inch display with 2732×2048 resolution, which is higher than the 15 inch MacBook Pro.  It is also backed with A9X processor and will produce 2x faster graphics.  The 10 hour battery life is a huge deal and the enhanced custom keyboard will make working from you iPad a piece of cake. With the 8MP iSight camera, 4 speaker audio system, and the ability to edit 3 4K streams at the same time, the iPad Pro is getting serious about its video and audio capabilities.  It measures at 6.9 mm in thickness and weighs in at 1.57 pounds.  The iPad Pro starts off at $799 for 32GB Wi-Fi model, while the 128GB Wi-Fi model will run you $949, and the 128GB Wi-Fi + cellular model will be priced at $1079.  You can choose from space gray, silver, or gold and it is going to be available in November.  Just in time for the holidays!

Smart Keyboard & Pencil

These accessories for the iPad Pro are going to be a dream for those who like to use their iPad for work.  It will really add to the “Pro” aspect of the iPad by giving you the creative and efficient ability to get things done.  The Smart Keyboard will attach to the iPad Pro via a new port on its side, aka the Smart Connector.  The case itself is made of a soft material and will wrap around the tablet.  With the Smart Keyboard you will get a full QWERTY layout with butterfly technology which can be experienced with the 12 inch MacBook.  The Pencil may have a very simple look to it, but it is quite impressive.  The pressure sensitivity will truly come in handy for designers who need their work to look perfect.  The harder you press the Pencil onto the screen, the thicker or darker your stoke will appear.  The iPad Pro will refresh 2x faster so that it can record your input accurately and it can be used simultaneously with your fingers for drawing techniques such as smudging.  The Pencil will be able to keep up with all your work with a long battery life and when needed can be charged via the hidden Lightning connector.    The Smart Keyboard is priced at $169 and the Pencil at $99.

Apple TV

Apple has brought new life to the Apple TV set top box, they have improved the experience for all.  While the device itself may not look completely new, once you start to use it you will definitely see the difference.  The new remote control features Bluetooth 4.0, accelerometer and gyroscope, as well as up to 3 months with every charge.  The remote also has a built in microphone allowing for voice commands, and a touchpad for navigating through the new interface.  They have improved the operating system that supports Apple TV which gives app developers open access to creating apps or games for the device.  The user interface has been upgraded to flow better and be more appealing to the viewer.   A big improvement is the ability to use Siri voice commands to search for whatever you hope to view.  Siri can do a lot more than just search though, they demonstrated using her to recommend content and even ask for more information on content currently being viewed.  The new Apple TV is packed with a 640bit A8 chip, Bluetooth 4.0, 802.11 ac Wi-Fi with MIMO, and an IR receiver.  Pricing starts at $149 for the 32GB model and is $199 for the 64GB model; and is set to be available in October.

iPhone 6s & 6s Plus

For some it may seem like ever since the long awaited iPhone 6 and 6 Plus were released they’ve already begun talking about the 6s and 6s Plus.  We can understand the excitement; today Apple introduced the two new smartphones with some great specs and features.  The iPhone 6s will have a 4.7 inch screen and the 6s Plus a 5.5 inch screen.  Other improvements include 3D touch which introduces new gestures such as peek and pop which will bring up modal windows and items hidden under panes.  The A9 processor offers the users 70% increased A8 speed and 90% faster graphics.  Touch ID has been improved to be twice as fast as it was before, and an all new 12MP iSight camera gives you 50% more pixels and more accurate autofocus.  You even have 4K video support with the 6s and 6s Plus.  A 5MP FaceTime HD camera with Retina Flash and true tone ability will give you the best video call experience possible.  Another exciting feature they introduced was Live Photos, pictures you can save and view that look as if they are animated as you press with 3D touch.  They are similar to mini videos but work a little differently.  Faster Wi-Fi and LTE are the cherry on top for these iPhones.  For the iPhone 6s you can purchase 16GB for $649, 64GB for $749, 128GB for $849.  The iPhone 6s Plus will be available for 16GB for $749, 64GB for $849, and 128GB for $949.  You can begin pre-ordering on September 12th .
