Looks like Apple is working towards providing their very own search engine and it might be debuting before the end of 2015.  A recent job posting came to light where Apple was looking for an “Engineering Project Manager – Apple Search” so that definitely sparks interest and curiosity about their latest project.  The job posting stated:

“Apple seeks a technical, driven and creative program manager to manage back end operations projects for a search platform supporting hundreds of millions of users. Play a part in revolutionizing how people use their computers and mobile devices. Manage operational projects that support groundbreaking technology and the most scalable big-data systems in existence.”

This can be really exciting or just another flop much like when Apple decided to replace Google Maps with their own rendition of Maps.  Some users may be loyal Google searchers and some may think that Apple can definitely step up to the plate and offer a reliable and fast search engine.  I guess we will just have to wait and see.
