News about a “dislike” button coming to Facebook soon made some headlines and lots of users are looking forward to it.  Now, the word is that Facebook will offer an assortment of “reactions” for users to appropriately respond to friends’ posts.  The reactions include: like, love, haha, yay, wow, sad, and angry.  Each reaction will have an emoji assigned to it and it will be available on both desktop and mobile.  On desktop, simply hovering over the Like button will present you with the reaction options.  On mobile, when you tap the Like button you will then see the different options available.  This is still currently in a testing phase, so you may not get to try it out for a while.  Although it is not a “dislike” button, it is still nice to see that Facebook has taken a step forward to allow users to express more than just “liking” someone’s status update.
