Earlier today, Droid Life reported leaked images of the new Samsung Galaxy Note 5 which is set to be unveiled August 13th.  This photos do show that the Note 5 will not have a removable battery or a slot for a microSD card; which is a new trend for Samsung.  Up until the Galaxy S6, Samsung always offered the removable battery and microSD card slot.  Some users may be ok with the change, but I am sure many will not be too happy about it.  It comes down to convenience with the battery, some people prefer to swap out the battery to a fully charged spare if they’re on the go and don’t have the time to plug into a charger or just don’t want to be stuck to an external battery when juice is low.  Others don’t mind it at all.  Same with the microSD card slot, for some users, they like have the extra storage space available on their phones and may actually need it, while it isn’t a huge deal to others.  It is interesting to see these changes they are making and I’m quite intrigued to see how it is accepted by Samsung fans.
