The second generation of the Microsoft Band is here and it looks like a nice upgrade.  The original Microsoft Band was a quality fitness tracker, but they have definitely made some improvements to really make it stand out.  First of all, the design has been enhanced to fit more comfortably on your wrist.  The no edges aspect of it really provides all day comfort and looks a lot sleeker.  The AMOLED display has a more curved design also adding to the increased comfort level and the Gorilla Glass display offers scratch resistance and longevity.  You still get the great features that were found on the original Band such as GPS, optical heart rate monitor, guided workouts and much more; they have just added a few more to make it even more alluring.  There is now a barometer feature to track altitude for hikers and bicyclists, as well as golf tracking so you can view your progress.  It also has VO2 max which tells you the maximum amount of oxygen you take in during physical activity.  The Microsoft Band is so much more than just a fitness tracker though; it can help you to live a healthier lifestyle and keep you organized so you’re more productive.  The long list of features and sleek new design will surely convince you to give it a try to see what it’s all about.  The Microsoft Band is currently available for pre-order for $249.99 and will be officially released on October 30.
