Mini BrainScientists in Vienna have grown a human “mini-brain” out of adult stem cells.  They then fed these cells what quite literally boils down to brain food, or “a mix of nutrients thought to be essential for brain development”.  I’m not sure that sprinkling your cereal in the morning will help you learn though!  The mini-brain grew in about a month, and while not conscious, they were able to detect neural activity (see the video!!).

What do you think?  The beginning of the end? What would a grown brain be able to eventually do?  Would that brain be able to be implanted into a body and be able to act like a “normal” person?
